Snow Angel
Rouge River Winds with Music Director Pratik Gandhi presents, Snow Angel. This program features familiar holiday favourites including a new arrangement of Sarah Quartel’s “Snow Angel” for wind band. We are also bringing back our annual Christmas Market including baked goods and crafts!

The Elements
The Rouge River Winds and Music Director Pratik Gandhi present The Elements! This program explores music relating to the four classical elements – earth, water, air, and fire – including John Mackey’s “Sheltering Sky”, Cait Nishimura’s “Lake Superior Suite”, and Brian Balmages’ short symphony “The Elements”. The concert also features our 2019-20 first place solo competition winner Gillian Chreptyk, trumpet, performing “Evensong” by Stephen Gryc.

Fantasia
Join the Rouge River Winds and music director Pratik Gandhi for a concert that celebrates excellence in wind band music. The program will feature not only standards such as Percy Grainger’s masterful “Children’s March”, Timothy Mahr’s breakout composition, “Fantasia in G”, and Frank Ticheli’s sublime setting of “Amazing Grace”, but also fresh new works from Canadian composers Jonathan Dagenais and Kristie Hunter. Also featuring competition winner Kishan Chouhan, performing Claude T. Smith’s “Fantasia for Alto Saxophone”.
